The Usefulness of Useless Knowledge
Some great new stuff has come out recently. Sophie (a DJ moniker) does a warped ironic take on pop that works as pop at the same time. Raury's new record is amazing—why isn't this guy huge? Benjamin Clementine, whom I included in Meltdown this past August, just won the Mercury prize in UK (the music equivalent to the Booker Prize).
