September's installment of DB Radio is a beautiful mix by Sarah Jones (of Pillow Person and Hot Chip). The mix is inspired by Sarah's grandmother, Josefina Suñé, who was a sword fighter from Bilbao that helped refugee children flee the Spanish Civil war, and immigrate to England. Mrs. Suñe loved flamenco, copla and other traditional Spanish music, and without knowing how to speak English, came to communicate with her granddaughter through music.
